This property is a single family home with ample parking located in the driveway. Please request directions for where to park should you wish to park at the other property. You are allowed two vehicles at the property with two trailers or three vehicles. If you have a need to park more than two vehicles and trailers or more than three vehicles, please contact us prior to your stay.
The City of Berlin, NH maintains a parking ban that began on Friday, November 1st and remains in effect through April 1st. The city does not allow parking on city streets between midnight and 7:00 a.m.
A snow removal company is contracted to clear the driveway during a storm with significant accumulation. While the contracted company does clear the driveway and parking area frequently, we do provide a shovel which is located just inside the main entrance and a bucket of salt right next to the stairs coming up from the driveway to the main walkway.
Should you have any concerns regarding plowing or snow removal during your stay, please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us a message.
This property has its entrance located in the front of the home facing the street. It is easily accessed by a couple of steps coming off the driveway. The garage is off limits for use by guests, and your access code will not work to gain access to the interior or exterior garage door.
Our properties utilize state of the art electronic smart locks with individual codes assigned to each guest. You will receive an automated email shortly after booking from Lockstate communicating the code for your stay and instructions for use. You will receive this email at the address you have on file with your booking platform. If you do not receive this email, please let us know as soon as possible. Check in begins at 4pm. Your code becomes active at this time, allowing you to enter the property. There is no need to check in with anyone in person prior to entering.
Please ensure you follow all instructions to unlock the door that are provided in the email from Lockstate. The lock will beep and flash a green light as it is unlocking. Please wait for the light to stop flashing and the beeping noise to stop before you attempt to open the door. For additional assistance gaining entry to the unit, please press the button on the Ring doorbell, and we would be happy to assist you.
Guest rules and some instructions are posted inside the entry door. Please ensure you review these upon check-in.
In this home, you will find three bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen memory foam mattress with cozy bedding. The lower level of the home features an additional bedroom with two queen beds.
In the living room there is a queen sleeper sofa. Bedding and pillows are located in the hallway closet opposite the refrigerator.
This home features smart TV's provided for guest use in all bedrooms and the living room. The provider of the television service is YouTube TV, Google’s latest streaming TV product. Over 60 channels are available including a cloud based DVR. You will find an identical setup for all TVs.
This home features two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom contains a tub/shower combination. The lower level bathroom features a shower. We provide you with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your use (located in bottles inside the shower). Towels, washcloths, and hand towels sufficient for your party are located in the linen closet inside the upper level bathroom as well the linen closet outside the lower level bathroom. Hair dryers and additional toilet paper are located under the bathroom sinks.
This home features a washing machine and dryer inside the lower level bathroom. We provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your use. There are also two laundry hampers available for your use. Hampers are located inside the linen closets with the towels. Please place any soiled linens or towels inside the hampers at the conclusion of your stay.
In the kitchen, a full complement of pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, plates, cups and dishes are provided. The home is also furnished with a full set of kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher. Several dishwasher tablets are provided for your use under the kitchen sink. We also store several cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink for your use. A dish drying rack, sponge, and dish soap are provided for hand washing dishes. Also provided is a K-Cup coffee brewer with coffee, tea, cream, and sugar, which is located on the kitchen counter. A toaster oven is also provided. A dish drying rack is located under the kitchen sink.
This home features a very efficient boiler based heating system. Individual thermostats are located in the living room and two of the bedrooms (lower level bedroom and upstairs bedroom on the same side as the bathroom). The lower level (which includes the lower level bedroom) is heated with radiant heat located in the floor. The lower level may take slightly longer to heat up or cool down when you change the thermostat.
During the winter months, please turn the heat down to 60 degrees when you leave for the day and at the conclusion of your stay. During spring time, please do not turn off the heat, simply turn down the temperature. We can see very drastic temperature swings in the White Mountains with moderate temperatures during the day and very low temperatures at night.
In order to ensure that we can appropriately clean the unit in time for the next guest (often arriving on the same day as your check out), please ensure you are out of the apartment at or prior to the check out time of 10am. If you happen to need more time, please contact us in advance for prior approval. Please ensure any dirty towels are placed in the laundry hamper, all dishes have been cleaned (using either the dishwasher and provided dishwasher tabs or the sponge and dish soap), and the unit is in generally good shape.
A green trash dumpster is located at the end of the driveway. All trash can and should be disposed of in this dumpster. Please ensure that the dumper has a clear path to the road from Wednesday night through Thursday at 3pm.
If something should happen to have broken during your stay, please contact us to report the damage as soon as possible. We want to ensure that the place is just as enjoyable for our next guests as it was for you.
